Meet Sarah

True transformation begins long before the first plié, pulse, or plank.

It begins with the way we speak to ourselves.

For as long as I can remember, movement has been my language. Through decades of training, performing, teaching, and coaching, I’ve come to believe that the strongest bodies are built by strong minds. Lasting confidence isn’t created through perfection—it’s created by changing the story we tell ourselves every day.

That belief became the foundation of my signature method.

Sarah, founder of The Aplomb Method

My journey has taken me from training with master teachers from the prestigious Kirov Academy to performing with a studio company in New York City. I later expanded into ballroom dance, teaching at Arthur Murray and training and performing alongside professionals from Dancing with the Stars and all over the world. These experiences taught me that excellence is built through discipline, artistry, resilience, and a mindset that believes growth is always possible.

Today, I bring those worlds together in two ways.

For women seeking a boutique fitness experience, I created a signature barre method that blends the elegance of ballet, the strength of Pilates, and the joy of movement with intentional affirmations and mindset coaching. Every class is designed to strengthen not only your body but also your inner dialogue—helping you replace negative self-talk with confidence, resilience, and self-belief. I believe the words you repeat while your muscles are working become far more than motivation—they become the foundation for lasting transformation.

At the same time, I coach dedicated ballet dancers of all ages and levels who are serious about their training. Whether preparing for auditions, refining technique, building artistry, or pursuing personal excellence, I provide individualized coaching rooted in the classical standards that shaped my own career while helping dancers develop the confidence and mental resilience required to thrive both on and off the stage.

Although these paths may seem different, they share the same purpose.

Whether you’re stepping into your first barre class or stepping onto a stage, my mission is to help you move with strength, grace, confidence, and intention. Every client who walks through my doors deserves to feel supported, challenged, and empowered to become the strongest version of themselves—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

This is more than movement.
It’s a practice of becoming.

Because when you change the way you move, you change the way you live. And when you change the way you speak to yourself, everything else begins to follow.
